Hind Rajab

“Please come save me. Quickly.”

Six-year-old Palestinian Hind Rajab — trapped in her relatives’ car in Gaza in June of 2024, clutching a cell phone in her tiny hands — with soft voice and brave heart, calls out to the world for three hours: Please come save me. Quickly.

Finally, two medics, promised clearance to rescue her, arrive at the car, where they and Hind are killed outright by soldiers. Here is Meg Kelly’s extensive and compelling report in The Washington Post.

Each of us must honor Hind’s plea! We must end war once and forever. As Voltaire reminds us:  “It is forbidden to kill; therefore all murderers are punished unless they kill in large numbers and to the sound of trumpets.” It’s time for humanity to create a contagion of peace gatherings across the continents.
